At the evening’s end choir members were treated to a wide variety of delicious finger foods and deserts, prepared by Stanley Bridge Memorial Society members. Proceeds from the successful event will go to the Stanley Bridge Memorial Building Fund, which will be used to renovate the former Stanley Bridge United Church (de-commissioned in 2008). When completed the extensive renovations will transform the enduring landmark into a thriving cultural and events centre.

An Evening of Music

At 7 pm, Sunday, Nov 17, the Island Masonic Choir, Men in Motion, and the Milton Anglican Church Community Choir, Just For Fun, will present an evening of music in the New London Community Complex. The quilt was spread out across pews at the former Stanley Bridge United Church recently.
