Crystal Green Farms is one of several vendors at the Stanley Bridge Centre Farmer’s Market, which is running Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season.

It will be a very merry Christmas for Katie Jollimore who won the $10,000 grand prize in the Stanley Bridge Centre's elimination draw, held Dec. 1 at the New London Community Complex.

The winning ticket was drawn by Clayton Smith, a member of the Stanley Bridge Memorial Society's board of directors, organizers of the fundraiser.

A total of 171 tickets were purchased, at $100 apiece, netting the Stanley Bridge Centre at least $3,000 worth of profits, which will used to fund operations at the SBC building during the year. Heather Simpson claimed the second place prize of $1,500. Other winners were Troy Richardson ($1,000), Mid-Isle Electric ($500), Karen Rix-Paynter ($500) and David MacAndrew ($500). Many thanks to area residents and others who purchased the tickets and helped make the fundraiser a success.
