Wednesday, May 14, was clear-out day at the former Stanley Bridge United Church, where valuable items, including several pews, were moved by volunteers from the building onto flatbed trucks. Stanley Bridge Memorial Society volunteers took a break from their work on May 2. They were preparing for the May 3 pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Stanley Bridge WI. The lavish meal also included sausages, homemade baked beans, cheese, fruit, jam, cinnamon rolls, juice, tea and coffee.
